2015/16 was a record year for Arterial – both with a number of successful EIS based fund raises, two earlier EIS investments receiving serious approaches from globally recognised life science firms and an award from the EIS Association for a member of our team for their contribution to the EIS sector.
To capitalise upon our success we wish to expand our existing UK wide IFA sales team of three with the appointment of one more person.
The successful applicant will have an enviable track record of EIS single company fund-raising or private equity from leading IFAs and professional advisers within the investment banking and wealth management community. You will already have an established client base, be willing to travel extensively throughout the year to develop new relationships and possess an instinctive understanding of what it takes to build strong, long-term relationships with highly successful advisers.
Applicants should have an in-depth knowledge of the UK professional adviser market and importantly, the key factors driving that market at both a UK and EU level. You will be aware of prevailing case law, the factors determining PI and the day to day impact for IFA marketing. In addition you should have a complete knowledge of the EIS/private equity competitor landscape, understand the importance of strong, underlying asset management within any product offering and be able to communicate that message at all levels.
